Pete Landon to present at June PechaKucha Night

Present twenty images in twenty seconds. That’s the simple idea behind PechaKucha Night, named after the Japanese term for the sound of “chit chat.” PK Night was devised in Tokyo in 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. Nine years later, the event happens in cities all over the world and since 2007, Peter and Sharon Exley of architectureisfun have graciously hosted Chicago’s PechaKucha Night.

On Tuesday June 5th at Martyrs’ in Lincoln Park, LBBA’s Pete Landon will be presenting at PechaKucha Night (for more than twenty seconds) alongside footwork fashionista Annie Mohaupt, intellectual heavy metal band ARRIVER, map maker Joseph Altshuler, school founder Tabitha Ponte, Dean of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Lisa Wainwright, Elmidae designer Abigail Glam-Lathbury, Eric Shripka, formerly of Goldman Sachs, artist and Cranbrook grad Travis Roozee, and communications + technology stategist Andy Swindler. We hope to see you there!
