West Humboldt New Homes, Chicago, IL

The New Homes for Chicago Program encourages new construction of single-family and two-flat homes and condominiums for purchase by low and moderate-income families throughout Chicago. The West Humboldt New Homes project is part of the first wave of these homes, built on city owned land and offering up to a $40K mortgage write down to qualified buyers. Though these houses are brick veneer with wood bays, they are strong and articulated enough to stand up alongside the elegant stature of their greystone neighbors.
